The Purbeck Way leads down through an amazing variety of landscapes and
habitats from Wareham to the spectacular coastline at Chapman's Pool to
the south or Ballard Down to the east via the picture postcard village
of Corfe Castle. 
The Purbeck Way West begins in Wareham and heads out to the west to
Coombe Keynes and Winfrith Newburgh, and then down to West Lulworth
on the Jurassic Coast. Take a while to explore the Cove and nearby
Durdle Door.
The Purbeck section of the South West Coast Path, starts at Shell Bay,
Studland and heads west along the coast to White Nothe.
 
This walking route provides fantastic access to the Jurassic Coast
on recognised, safe routes passing places of interest such as Old
Harry Rocks, Ballard Down, Dancing Ledge, St Aldhelm's Head,
Kimmeridge Bay, Worbarrow Bay, Lulworth Cove, St Oswald's Bay and
Durdle Door.
